Horse Charms Are A Girl’s Best Friend
Almost every little girl dreams of having a horse or a pony of her own. Even though a real live horse may not be an option, a collection of horse charms on a horse themed bracelet may be the perfect alternative. Charms of horses come in a variety of styles, designs and metals, plus you can also add a bunch of extra charms to add to the theme.
Silver charms of horses are very shiny and eye catching, while gold charms are also a great option for a rich look. Combining both on a silver and gold double or triple strand bracelet is also a possibility, or you can look for bracelets that feature a western, English or equestrian style of link.
There are several must have items on a horse themed charm bracelet. Of course the major types of charms should be those that represent horses in all their magnificence and splendor. Popular charms include horses rearing up in the air and horses prancing and running.
3-D styles of charms are the best for showing off the beauty of horses, but don’t forget about cute little foal charms as well. These can include foals running alongside their mothers or foals nestled down at their mother’s feet.
Horseshoe charms in a filigree type of design are both beautiful as well as lucky. Horseshoe charms can also be found in small groups on a ring, prefect for adding a bit of movement to the bracelet.
Tack is also a great way to add some other horse motifs to a group of charms. You can include both western and English saddles, bridles and even horse brushes all in miniature form. Cowboys and cowgirls on horseback as well as elegant English riders are perfect additions to the bracelet.
There are always a variety of different charms that will also match the horse theme of the collection. These can include charms of English riding boots, cowboy boots, hats, bandana and even little cowboy or cowgirl charms. Jumps, barrels and even little horse trailers complete with wheels that roll are a great idea.

Getting a young girl started on a collection of horse charms will provide you with gift ideas for a lifetime, or at least until she is old enough to get her own real live horse.
