Sparkly Dazzling
Does anyone remember the Brazillian soap opera ‘Dancin’ Days’?
It was on Channel 4 I believe at about 5pm in the 80′s. It began with a sparkly platform shoed person dancin’ disco and was about a family living in a flat in Rio. It was fantastic! Full of salsa music, dancing, beach scenes, swarthy males and beautiful women. It was also the brazillian version of Crossroads with wobbly sets etc. and then someone ended up in prison (like prisoner Cell Block H!) Anyone else remember it? Whenever I mention it, everyone thinks I am hallucinating – having been dazzled by too much lurex in the 80s! I would love to find someone else who remembers it!
