Where is a nice suburb of Salt Lake City?
I’m thinking about moving to the Salt Lake City area … I have a number of relatives in Utah, but they are in smaller towns (Brigham City, Cedar City …) I want to live in a bigger city for now because I think it would be best for my career.
I’m looking for somewhere out of Salt Lake City that is a reasonable driving distance, with good schools, nice, larger homes, and opportunities for recreation, shopping and dining. A good place to raise a family basically. I prefer somewhere that the houses are newer. Where would this be and how much are the homes?
Sandy is the nicest suburb of SLC. Nice homes start at about $200K.
23rd best place to live in the country. #1 in Utah. (2006)
Cottonwood Heights scored well in 2007. Much more expensive than Sandy though…
